Poets

Whispering poets, glimmering dreams
Taken along on angels wings
Enraptured in this heavenly bliss
As flights of angels feathers kiss
Listening to songs alone in the rain
Praying that love too shall come again
As hearts showing an open wound
One foot in the heavens, the other a tomb
Crying out to the gods in despair
A heart with passion and flair
Wondering when this world shall bend
Their heart, exposed, doth easily rent
A mind and soul divided
Science and art collided
Day to day reality no easy toil
From the evil, ugly doth their heart recoil
Praying to the heavens for an inspired muse
Their hearts, do their mind abuse
And when all is said and done Flicker out, will their burning sun.
Till all are united-one.
